Wendell Berry is a poet and the author of fiction that includes Hannah Coulter, A Place on Earth, Remembering, Fidelity, The Memory of Old Jack, A World Lost and Jayber Crow. His most recent collection of essays is The Way of Ignorance and Blessed Are the Peacemakers. Among his essay books are The Unforeseen Wilderness, Another Turn of the Crank, What Are People For?, Life is a Miracle and The Unsettling of America. He is a past Fellow of the Guggenheim and Rockefeller Foundations and has received the Aiken Taylor Award for Modern American Poetry. Berry’s latest novel is Andy Catlett: Early Travels, and his recent collections of poetry include Given and Leavings.
